Our Story

Six Degrees sells fair trade and handmade items directly from the artisans that lovingly craft them.

Dedicated to improving the lives of others, we offer beautifully designed, ethically made and environmentally friendly jewellery, accessories and homewares.

When you buy from Six Degrees you are directly supporting families and communities in developing countries around the globe and helping to create a fairer world.

Founded in 2014 by Audrey Jack, a social entrepreneur, Six Degrees is a collaborative, innovative brand born out of first hand contact with real people in the developing world.

To date Six Degrees works with 12 groups of artisans in Cambodia, Kenya, Ecuador, Vietnam, Laos, Bali, and Sri Lanka.

Combining traditional craft skills and using naturally sustainable or recycled materials, we have developed a unique collection of characterful pieces with global appeal.

From exquisitely carved Tagua necklaces to hand woven silks, our distinctive product range is made with care and skill. All our products use sustainably sourced or recycled materials to create unique and eco-friendly gifts that make a real statement without saying a word.

By offering an international retail platform for the diverse range of communities, charities, social enterprises, and artisans we work with, Six Degrees actively promotes a high level of social consciousness with all its suppliers and recognises that in order for small Fair Trade projects to be sustainable, they need a long-term route to market for their goods.

Help us change lives one craft at a time by buying from Six Degrees - after all, Six Degrees is all there is between us!
